I picked up some Noritake Itron VFD's from a Ham Rally the other week, love the look of those things and can't wait to put one in a project.

I picked up some Noritake Itron VFD's from a Ham Rally the other week

Thanks to various videos of electrical fun stuff on youtube, I initially read VFD as "Variable Frequency Drive" rather than "Vacuum Fluorescent Display", and wondered why you thought something that runs electric motors looked good... :-rofl2
