Also the DM600 has a twin tuner so i was told.

So if you want more than one television to change channel on a required satellite without needing to modify the setup at the dish then the 600 will let you do that.

All in all if you are really bothered about a hard drive and twin tuner you may aswell get a 7000+ model or wait for the 8000 which will offer HD (whenever that is due out who knows)

Don't believe it does, although you may be able to swap out the single tuner for the a cable or Terrestrial version.

Yep that right. The 600 has a single removable tuner. It is the same tuner as the 7025 so can be swapped for an S, T or C type tuner.

Mine has the C tuner and will be in my hands in the morning.

I think the 500 is a discontinued model due to all the pirate ones. It is being replaces by the 500plus.

It can take a 2.5" hard drive and comes with the full size remote instead of the little 500 type one.
