Thermal overload or RCD ? Repair possible ?

I have this 50m drum of cable, 2.5mm thick innards (so not your average Screwfix) but with a faulty reset switch.

I don't know if it is thermal or RCD though I suspect the former. I'm going to soak the screws tonight with a view to undoing it all at the weekend (drill out any that are sods) but I'm not sure what is inside.

Are these things repairable ?

Bypass the silly red button if you get the screws out they are a pain in bottom its only 55v center tapped anyways
