Is it feasible ?

Customer wants to have just one receiver, but with the 4k resolution and I would push them in the direction of the Octagon over the Zgemma.

Unless somebody has found the H9S does work with the card of course.

Unless it's changed recently, the new TNTSAT cards won't work in an unofficial receiver.

The box keys and 3DES keys floating about online that make it work in OSCam have presumably been dumped by a hacker out of the software of an official receiver - the problem is that for the new V6 cards they have the capability of blocking the card if you use that publicly available set of keys - they must be on some kind of blacklist. Apparently it works for a little while and then the card goes dead! Pretty effective for them to stop people using their own receivers unfortunately.

I didn't bother replacing my TNTSat card when it expired for this reason, as I don't have an official receiver at all (I had one of the obsolete DVB-S MPEG2 ones way back).

Fransat cards should work though as far as I'm aware. I've got one running fine in OSCam which is available on the SF8008.

There is a new Oscam-version that will make even V6 cards work in E2 receivers, but it's not so easy to make it work. I haven't and I am still using my official receiver.

Apologies for delay, client is just about to land thanks to the new Covid stuff.

The card is marked V6 and with V/Orca emblem, and so would an official Viaccess cam do the job in a suitable CI cartridge receiver ?

I was going to mention CI CAMs. These are generally made for terrestrial transmissions and I don't know if TNT ones will work on satellite. Also, you'll need to faff with CI+ plugins to get them working on E2 receivers (which don't officially support CI+ CAMs).

I was going to try a good solid HD receiver from a decade ago first, or tempt the customer to upgrade to a modern Freesat TV.

TNTSat won't work in even an official CI CAM unfortunately. Only Fransat on 5°W.

The only "new" OSCam version that I'm aware of that works with TNTSat doesn't involve using the card, it involves the things you use to unlock the door, if you catch my drift!

Thanks for the advice, I had been looking at this promotion that infers the receiver would be able to read the TNTsat card, though perhaps the specification is more to do with the terrestrial side of the box.

(but is the terrestrial service also called TNTsat or just TNT ?)

That box looks dubious to me, I think they’re implying that it will decode TNTSAT in the way I mentioned above. I say this because one of the pictures on that listing also mentions “Albertis” (sic), which is referring to the BISS-encrypted professional Spanish DTT feeds on 30°W, as well as “BBC Satback” (BISS encrypted Freeview feeds on 27.5°W).

I would take a look at TV Corner - they specialise in French equipment.

Yes, it was their site that led me to think about using a PCMCIA since a Fransat one is offered for the 5W service.
