Hello there
Could you help me solve this problem?
It only happens on the 13º 10992 V transponder. Instead of getting the station name, you see the numbers and the SID.
Do you have any fixes?
Thanks.

I see this as well often since many years on the Rai channels, after a scan with my Xtrend ET8500 (OpenATV).
Scanning the transponder again once or twice "fixes" this, until a next scan...

I do not understand these issues as you do, but it may be due to the chipset.
In the Dreambox Two it does not happen, and it does in Vu + Duo and Gigablue Quad.

A little less analogue, and a lot more crap.

I find a missing channel name occurs mainly during a blind scan, possibly when the receiver gets a sniff of the transponder, but a MHz or two out.

It might also be the LNB being slightly off the exact LO frequency.

I don't think it's due to blind scanning, I never do. And it only happens to me on that 13th transponder

Does it happen to Reuters on 22°W? If yes it's the same issue. Have you tried a different image?

I can't taste 22º, they are fixed dishes.
With newnigma2 in Dreambox Two the transponder numbers are not visible.

This also happens to me, quite randomly. Like another person said, scanning a few times more on just that TP might get rid of it.

Yes here is another person again!
I must say, the loss of Rai channel names is worse now, than how it was until recently.
Only after about half the transponder scans attempts, the correct names show up in the "Last Scanned" bouquet.
Then if I scroll down, often the names disappear immediately. And if they stay, they get lost later.

Edit: there is a workaround.
Scan the transponder until the correct names are showing. Don't press "OK", upload immediately to channel editor.
I use E-Channelizer, set these flags for the channels (there is also batch editing):
"Do not update parameters automatically" and
"Keep unchangeable during service scan".
Download back to the box.

I have managed to keep the numbers from appearing, using Dreambox edit.
Check "do not automatically update the service parameters"
