Transponder Settings?????????

I have just got my system working but the pre programmed transponder list on my Humax Foxsat seems to be all to pot,can anyone help please

Yes.

The lists on each and every Satellite are way out of date.

Two ways to make progress:

1. Do a Network Search on each Satellite, which will find a fair few more active TPs

2. Manually add User TPs to correlate with flysat/lyngsat/kingofsat/

Tedious job, I'm afraid, and just about the worst feature of the Foxsat.

You can't even correct the spelling of eg Atlantaic Bird (sic.)

Hey tivu, yet again help from you , it seems that on this foxsat box if the correct transponder is not selected no signal strength or quality shows up, and how do i do a network search, once again thank you for the help

You're correct - any pre-listed TP that is more than a small amount inaccurate in either frequency or Symbol Rate (or both) will simply return no result.

Give me a few minutes to nip down and give you chapter and verse instructions.

In Manual Tune, you know already where the line "Transponder" is: Select "All"

On the very next line down, you'll see "Network Search"!

Select "Enable", scroll to bottom and press go!

But you may still find it doesn't add all the active Transponders - only a true Blind/Auto scan can do that and the Foxsat doesn't have that feature. So you might still have to add any important missing ones manually (This is an option in "Transponders", if you scroll up (not down, or you'll be there all day!) from "All".

Network Search gets you all TPs tagged by Platforms eg Sky Digital or Freesat (Not sure if it does both!)

hey tivu your top bloke with this help mallarky,am upto speed now thanks again for ya help. is there a way to change languages on dubded films etc or a way to turn the dubbed audio off on the foxsat.

The only audio choice(s) you get are those provided by the broadcaster - have a look for a key near the bottom right of the Telecommander that has a loudspeaker with a question mark.
