any advice on how I change the diseqc settings? Thanks.
When you 'enable' diseqc, choose diseqc 1.0 or 2.0 or "committed", don't know how it is called in your box.
Then you should have 4 options: ABCD or 1234 or AA AB BA BB (or however they are called in your box).

Can you find that?

Found this brief guide for manually entering satellite frequencies but, as you can see on the displayed menu screen, you have a short cut option, yellow button, for DISEqC options.
Hope this helps, if not please post back as there are other video available.

I have taken pictures of the settings from the menu.... Hotbird is set to B and Astra 19 is set to A both showing no signal quality, Astra 23 and Badr are set to disable... Looks Like I have the option of diseqc 1.0 or 1.1.

Try choosing a different transponder in the TP Index setting.

For each satellite or is there a general setting? With the single LNB I had before I just set the dish up on Hotbird and scanned and it worked. Should that not also be the case with the dual/ twin monobloc, other than diseqc settings should I need to alter anything else?

On the 19.2°E settings try a different transponder. On the 23.5°E & 26°E settings the TP Index settings shows a transponder for which you have signal. Select either of those transponders on the 19.2°E page and then try either DiSEqC 1.0 A or B.

I changed the transponder on 19 and diseqc to B. On Hotbird I changed the diseqc to A. Sigbal came up on both. I did a scan on both 13 and 19 and got many channels becore data base full message appeared. I will delete all the channels from all sats then scan both again.

I have both 13 and 19 now with the main Spanish channels I wanted. Thankfully I didn't have to go back up the ladders. Thank you to everyone for their help. Very much appreciated.

Also before scanning, you can choose if you want TV+radio or just TV;
and only FTA channels or also scrambled.
I often do a blind scan for only FTA channels, and then separate transponder scans for scrambled services that I have a subscription for.

Good that you have it working now!

Thanks. I deleted all the channels on both 13 and 19 then just scanned FTA and all is well for now. Just hope it keeps working. Fingers crossed.

There are a few gems, on 13E, and 19.2E, including One HD, a German FTA channel, on 19.2E, that includes an English sound track option, on a lot of classic television shows.

I am now cleaning and refurbishing the smaller Silcercrest brand dish I replaced. After getting all the mould and bird droppings off it is in remarkably good condition for being exposed to the elements since 2006. Well done Comag and Lidl for making and choosing to stock such a good quality dish for a very affordable price at the time. As expected the screws, bolts and brackets had a bit of rust which I have cleaned up but can always obtain new ones. The dish has two very small areas of paint loss which I want to touch up. Can anyone advise on a suitable touch up paint. The biggest (but still very small area is where the rod for the LNB goes through the dish. I'd only need a small touch up paint or small model making type container/tin/bottle. Thanks.

Any non-metallic outdoor paint should be ok.
