Just found this while looking online, Twin Grundig LNB.

£13.38 from Spain plus £10.70 postage, no details that I could see.

Has anyone tried one ?

I have just ordered an Inverto PRO Twin Flange LNB C120 for £34.69 inc postage from Irland.

God Bless Spiff

I tried the twin invert, I must say that after a few minutes of testing it ended up in the box and later used as a common lnb x system 2 decoder my reporte is negative for the grundig if I'm not mistaken it is a rebranded MTI product of the 2000s grundig alps or more, the noise margin value is certainly in line with what is printed on the label, not like today's ones with false values I remember in those days that I used a pair of Fracarro branded ones

A little less analogue, and a lot more crap.

You are correct Anto, it is from the very early Universal era. They suffered from water ingress through the seals front and rear after a few years.

Not bad, but I wouldn't use one for low signal hunting, but the demise of the C120 flange means these might be one of the few you can still buy.

Hi -

I,v used both colour twin C120 Inverto,s in the past on a 1.8 Channel Master offset with original C.M. feed ... and did not find any noticeable difference in performance .... Indeed both performed well, on that particular dish - but were eventually replaced by a standard twin Inverto black ultra l.n.b.f. - which slightly had the edge on them at some frequencies.

Cheers.

I know the black version has the ports so close together it is almost impossible to get a good seal on both with amalgamating tapeThe white looks to be the same.

Thank you both I have ordered a twin white to replace my single black, it was UK based this time and the same price.

Pot luck maybe in gain at certain frequency's ?

Hopefully it will perform on Nilesat, the single appears to have dropped off a bit over the last year.

I have tried tweaking, but to no avail.

No spiders living in the their either : )

Some past post suggest that the twin is better than the single, the gain over the band width must be up and down.

Perhaps I will be lucky with Nilesat : )

Hi, I tried two samples of the Inverto Black Pro Twin C120. It was ok with the first, but the second unit, compared to the other (same model) has something like 3 - 6 dBm less than the other one, this resulting in no lock on some low signals @7°E on my 1,5m dish (Gibertini feed).

Well I am happy that I did not receive the twin black in that case.

Sorry to hear about your experience.

The single Black I had was fine and the twin white is also.

Could be that your second black one was just faulty ?

I have added cling film over the horn, it stops condensation and spiders attenuating the signal.

Anything else over the horn drops the signal.

yea, I have another inverto c120 black, both single and twin, and I'm fine with them.
Strange enough, the SN on the box does not match with SN printed on the LNB...who guess.
I'm ordering another one, let's cross fingers.

bye
