My Satellite Setup
A little less analogue, and a lot more crap.

UK
Why would a client, when they already have a satellite dish on their property insist on having an aerial fitted with the above television.

They would receive many more channels straight off, plus UHD is not coming to terrestrial for a long time yet.

So, why go to the cost of installing something else on the roof ?

I have LG TV which has both Freesat (only if you want to use sat tuner as Freesat, also has USALS) and Freeview tuners....might as well use both tuners if the TV has it is my opinion. I use the Freeview tuner to record to a USB hard drive (find the Freeview EPG more reliable than Freesat, especially series record) whilst watching a channel on Freesat tuner etc.

There are channels not available on either platform, so if you wanted to maximise the number of channels then why not.

The common belief satellite = subscription.
The 'never wrong' friend who had a Sky dish (with wideband LNB ) that didn't work with their new telly.
The same friend who loves Freeview Play and therefore the new TV owner must have it too.
Familiarity of Freeview channel numbers.
The local and slightly further afield local BBC radio stations, or the extra KISS stations, none of which are on satellite (excluding London & nations).
