I agree, no real use for this setup :mellow:

OP could ditch that SMW R LNB and co-rotor, buy a bullseye feed, whip out the Ku orthomode and replace it with a "Frankenstien" mod to use a twin probe LNBF for Ku such as Invacom/Inverto and the bullseye C-Band orthomode for dual polarity C-Band.

The "Frankenstein" mod on a bullseye is well documented and has been carried out by at least two of the top UK men recently as well as a few in the USA with good results.

Somewhere in England (possibly?)!
Universal 9750/10750 is an option on a Technomate but the 22KHz is locked on AUTO
A CNDF/NDF channel editor such as Clarke-Tech has options to add L.O.'s not listed by default in a TM-5402

When Single LNB is selected, LNB frequency and 22KHz are editable
When OCS LNB is selected, dual L.O. options are available and 22Khz is editable
Just checked my TM, which confirms the above.

Morning MB well Plan B I think is to install the old quad LNB or find a Type E there is a few available on some of the other forums for about £125 but the main question is what I do with a £480 worth of Type R Lnb . I think I will put it up for sale on some of the other sat forums for £275 one thing is for sure I just want to finish this project before winter arrives .

@subman

Did you ever got sorted out with a WR75 Ku-Band LNB and scan some satellites?
There are a few nice SMW PLL Type E Ku-Band LNB's for sale on eBay from a reliable seller, link pasted below.
