Installed something there (Valencia Road) a few years ago.

On the map it's no more distant than say Maidenhead for me, but in reality there are no fast or clear roads I can take.
(Twickenham, Kew, round the North Circular, off at the Gyratory, skirt past W Kingsbury etc).
Conservatively, a half day - or two hours each way - for travel alone.

So one full day for a standard motorised install, plus the outdoor kit. What receiver(s) were you thnking of ?

I've gone out and already purchased a DM800HD clone without doing much research, am hoping that it will be able to drive the motor without any problems or issues?

I installed a quad system a month ago where the customer had the same receiver. There was a small issue to start with, but once reset, the dish motor ran without an issue.

It's a single input receiver only though, so the motor drive cable would have to be determined from the start, I assume you would run the dish from the living room, giving you one redundant cable.

Sorry, mate forgot all about my posts here.

I've gone for a non motorised setup for the time being to save some money and I went ahead and did the install myself. Didn't have time to finish the wiring but so far have the t&k galvanised bracket, pole and dish mounted and aligned to 28.2e. Went for a TD78 in the end to keep the wife happy, with a quad inverto black ultra and some tx100 cable.

Ran out of daylight to run all the cables so will probably do that this coming Saturday.

Just updating the thread.

Potential customers beware, there is someone trading as me and advertising as the business Sat-Elite in the areas I cover. I have made a number of attempts to contact them as their name infringes on both trademark and advertising in the UK thanks to the Patent Office and a a long established company name. They have to date refused to call back.

Deal at your own risk with anyone that advertises by the name Sat-Elite in the areas listed above unless you have been given a works number/full quotation or valid response/install date via pm from this site.

Thank you for your continued support.

Triax90cm / Technomate TM2600 / quad LNB. I also have a receiver (came with a packet I got - Bulstacom ZHD100, Hellas 2 39E) though that probably won't be able to move the motor so would neeed another one. Also need cable (dual would do). Poperty is semi-detached, facing north so dish will be at the back - overall good visibility. Not sure if I am missing something...

I'll have a go at enabling PMs tonight and if successful, pop over in the next day or so to have a look and price up.

A pity I had to chop more of the tree down than I would have wished
(All satellites - including Turksat 42 - came in fine, the Bulgarian was however rather picky on a few frequencies until two branches were taken off, and then others had to go to make the 'haircut' neat).

Which part of North West London ?

Do you already have any equipment ?

Is it your own property and if so, what type ?
