Bracket on the Gibertini xp is top notch
Which one you ordered xp or se

I went for the SE as I read that the feed arm is more stable and I believe it's foldable so I might be able to tweak it upwards to optimise the signal (the arm drops too low on the Triax and also saw the same might be the case for the gibertini) I can still cancel though, is the Xp better?

If you can grow a third hand there's a potentially very cheap TD110 on eBay

You DEFINITELY need AT LEAST 3, and 4 is better, hands with a TD110 (unless, of course you are @Channel Hopper - he seemed to "manage" my TD110 fairly well)

A little less analogue, and a lot more crap.

I actually have a soft spot for the original 1.1 version , the reflector (once straightened, not out of the box ) is a very good performer.

The current models are just pretenders to the crown (and lethal with no deburring) , which is why I keep a couple of originals for special occasions.

My TD110 was s/h but is probably of around 2012-2014 vintage.

Xp arm is solid but not foldable
Se arm is super solid and foldable
Both comes with super solid metal 40mm lnb holder
Aluminium sheet thickness on Se is 1.5mm and xp is 1.3mm
Se weight is little bit more than xp
If dish is going high up xp is better for ground level I will definitely buy se.
To align the Gibertini dish you do not need any tools all are hand tightened wing nuts.
So only two hands are more than enough.

I've taken the plunge and ordered a 1M Gibertini from Germany, remains to be seen if it will be shipped and what fees await me upon delivery. I know it won't beat a perfectly tuned Triax but hoping the bracket on the Gibertini allows for better fine tuning. There didn't seem to be any alternatives in the 1.1 range apart from the Primesat 1.1 which is more like a 115

Here's my current bent Triax dish. Took quite a heavy knock and looks a bit out of shape if the string test should have them meeting in the middle. Not had any luck sourcing a new one delivered or for collection locally
Same here let me know if any additional charges.

Is it light or dark grey and where are you located roughly?

My order through Amazon de got cancelled even though one of the suppliers on there accepted shipping to the UK. I've reordered through a different German site, shipping was rather expensive but very limited for options now. From what i've read orders under ~£135 (ignoring shipping and Tax) shouldn't face any extra charges. Went for the XP version this time but wondering if I should have stuck with the SE. Even though it will be high up on the roof and the SE weighs more it will be stronger and and also concerned about william-1 post about having to trim the LNB arm on the XP to optimise the signal which may not be the case on the SE. May well get cancelled today anyhow

It is light grey with the Triax logo on the top side of the face.
I am in Saaarf London, just a few miles from Croydon.

If I get time I will pull it out from the side of the shed and take a photo.
The pole clamp and the LNB holder are around somewhere I will see if I can locate them.

Note:
The dish is not the 1.1m version, it is slightly smaller, the reflective surface of the dish measures 96cm x 86cm , if the curved rim is included it is slightly larger.
I am not sure how Triax stated the size for it?

I took the dish out from the side of the shed and gave it a quick wash and I also located the LNB clamp and the mounting bracket.
The U bolts for the mounting bracket are missing but they should be available to purchase?

The dish looks OK, there are some slight marks on the top face above the logo but they might clean up better with a bit of cream kitchen cleaner and a sponge pad.
Pictures attached below.

The dish is free, collection only, if there are no takers it is going to the tip.

I got xp but I don’t have to trim arm to maximise signal as I got plenty adjustment remaining to move the lnb towards dish
If I moves the lnb towards the dish that’s make signal weaker.
I am in Scotland ( more windy ) and my dish Is high it has survived all major storms during last year.
Weight wise I think less load on the motor is better because it’s high and air pressure will be more.

Thanks @moonbase and @Gladstones55. Unfortunately the Triax is too small. So the supplier (Ariasat) seemed happy to ship to the UK but only up to 90cm, the search continues

Thanks, that's kind of you. Will see how I get on

That would be a good idea if I could find an experienced installer who's familiar with big dishes and motorised systems. I noticed on another post that you potentially cover some of south London? I've sent you a message

If I can't get hold of a Gibertini, i'm tempted to try out the Televes 1M which I haven't yet returned. Similar size to the Gibertini (slightly more gain on the specs) but steel and 13kg with bracket which is pushing it on a motor.
