OpenBox X5 on a 1 meter motorized dish.
And now a 10 foot "C" band dish.

Deep in the Boonies in the central Sierra Nevada mountains of California.
West Coast USA on 4/27/18 at 09:34 PST, taken from NOAA 18.

Looks like British Columbia is due for some rain, and Washington State and Oregon are getting some rain.

But California looks to be in for a nice day.

Most remarkable is perhaps the red colours - what's that thing happening in Barcelona??

Thats the precipitation mapping!

Or possibly UFO attack! :D

Polar pass showing the ice shelf off eastern Greenland. NOAA18 25-04. 1323. The image has been processed in photoshop by one of the lads on the APT fb group to remove the pager bars

Laminas 1.2M fibre dish with an IBU, on a Clarke Tech USALS motor, covering 57E - 24.5W to an Octagon SX88. Displayed on a 20" Dyon LED TV.

Seperate 80 cm dish on 28E with a Humax Freesat for SWMBO.
Free Sat V8 meter. Sony Bravia 46" LCD, Sony BluRay and Home Cinema.

That looks better The antenna is about four foot higher.Signal fade at 95% now.

New antenna position still looking good.Not convinced yet though.This pass could be over the gap between the houses. Time will tell.

I thought that something was wrong.I have had some bad scans recency.
This one turned out alright.

Just missed the liftoff, had the bird come by an hour earlier it might have shown a trail. And I didnt see anything here.

Here is the view from NOAA 19 on 5/5/18 at 05:21 AM PDT, if you follow the red line down from my location marker it goes just to the East of Vandenberg AFB. (little bump of land before it hits the Islands off shore)
