My Satellite Setup
Dr HD F15, OS mio + 4K, Octagon SF8008, Octagon SX88+. TM 5402HD M3. .Channel Master 1.20 Ku and C Band. 1.1 Triax Dish

Would anyone know please the dish size required for Ka Band viewing on Eutelsat 7east and 16east please.

Personally i wouldn't go less than a well tuned 1.2 mtr . A 1.5 or 1.8 is a good choice for good reliable signal capture of the various level of Tp levels that inhabit theses two birds. The bigger the dish size though, the bigger the installation tracking accuracy requirement becomes - a system with both AZ & EL motors helps to get over that .

Agreed. I use a 1.2m Prodelin/General Dynamics 3122 which is ex-Ka Band VSAT on an az-el so I can track non-geo. I'm not far away, in Essex, and some TPs are marginal. The VSAT Ka dishes have a better profile and more rigid construction, if you can find one. Precision/Elite used to make Ka specified reflectors but their standard ones are still good.
