and when I move the skew up and down,MKtv 4 lights up
somelight up after a minute others need to be zapped in and out to klight up
Some Italian channels on Hotbird behave in the same way...dsespite a strong,stable signal
My lnb ageing?
or a slightly different brand of mpeg 2 ?Italo -slavic lazy picture?

I've also seen the same issue with 13°E Italian channels on my Openbox. Regarding the skew, I believe 23.5°E has the 7.5° Astra skew offset, so tweaking it should improve signal.

yes it does improve the signal, up to 74% (Quality) and 88%(Level),which is very high..
however ,zapping from MRT3 to ,say MRT4 repuires 3 to 5 minutes before the image pops up. Sound immediately present
Same story on Hotbird,with Polish station "stars tv"
