what's the smallest dish for astra 2 in hamburg??

An 80cm dish is ok for Hamburg for 2D reception but nothing less than that. Be careful about drilling into walls to mount the dish unless you have got specific permission to do this from your landlord. You can mount the dish on a free-standing pole (weight the base with a paving slab) which are...

    Pace DS810XE software version

The settings for Astra 1 should be: Frequency: 12148 Polarisation: H Symbol Rate: 27500 PID: 2402 The latest version I have is 1.0.35 To be honest, I am not sure if the software is still being maintained for this box.

Which Sky HD box is good in fringe areas

I have a Pace HD box and am located on the NE edge of Hamburg. No problems with this box attached to a T90 dish. Some breakup of channels during heavy snow/rain though. Reception is as good if not a little better than my previous Thomson SD Sky digibox.

please guys give me citizen's site

Check out this site for links to manufacturers and their websites (especially for those not so mainstream labels). http://www.satellite-heaven.de/index.htm?jump=Receiver/ For your question, it seems Citizen are rebadged boxes from a korean manufacturer called AMT http://www.amt.co.kr/. This is...

    T90+Multi LNB question for RolfW-anyone?

Almost forgot... go to his last example at bottom of page (labelled as 'Beispiel 6') for wiring-up 16 LNBs.

    T90+Multi LNB question for RolfW-anyone?

I only count 14 LNBs (some LNBs are picking up 2 sats), so that makes it a little simpler. :D Here is a connection diagram. It's in German, but I don't think you need to read German to understand it. If you need some translation then post here. I have dealt with this guy and he's reliable...

    Horizontal Nightmare

It sounds like your dish is moving (maybe because of recent high winds?) so it would be an alignment problem. The other possibility is an LNB problem (not switching polarities between V & H and/or not responding to High/Low band switching tone). At the moment, my bet is on dish alignment due to...

where to put the diseqc switch

I'd say because it makes everything tidier and easier to manage when it comes to cabling. You only have relatively short lengths from each LNB to the switch and then you only need to worry about 1 cable running from the switch into the house. Where else could you put the switch? It just makes it...

    LCD v Plasma

Agree with the later posters. CRT, Plasma, LCD (best to worst picture quality). Traditional CRT sets continue to give much better pictures (and I'd stick to 50Hz versions for anything other than DVD watching at present. If/when HDTV comes along then 100Hz may be worthwhile). The reason LCD has...
