I remember when Amos 1 was launched the signals were analogue and I picked up a test card for one of Israel channels, mostly sparklies., 1.2m dish Central Scotland. I was so pleased!

I am pretty sure I can track satellites further west than 45W but that is the last one at that end I have a transponder lock so I am unable to verify (KU band only).

Have you tried Eutelsat 33E for the DVB S2x French channels. On the Mio I can blind scan and store and watch these channels. I have terrible break up of picture and sound on the Octagon. Details are: 12597 V DVB-S2X/8PSK MPEG-4 10058 25/36
