Thanks! I was able to catch this one with 7.33db tops. I've been trying to get past this one but can't seem to find anything else.
I've tried to get to 58w but I don't think the size of the actuator is enough to get there.
You should be able to get around 14-17 db on 52 and around 13 on 53 with a 120cm. It might need a small adjustment.
How's the signal on the western sats? 34.5 or 30?
are there any other sats that should be catchable with a 1.2m dish that is not on the list?
I've added 31.5 yesterday but not sure if there's any other satellite that can be scanned with a dish of that size.
I've done a scan an hour or so ago and I'm able to get the following transponders with a 120cm dish:
11973v - 10.5db
12012v - 9.6db
12051v - nothing
12070h - nothing
12090v - 9.2db
12168v - 9.3db
12207v - nothing
12246v - 8.8db not locking
12226h - nothing
12324v - 9.2db
12402v - 9.4db
12480v -...
I definetelly think that the box is either too sensitive or just displaying fancy numbers. Checked the highest I could get from each sat and they seem too high.
That is already good. It's pretty weird because on the meter that I use to allign the dish (SatLink WS-6933), I get around 14.9db but on the sat box I get around 16.2db on a good day and 15.8db average and I get paranoid and start thinking it's not well alligned.
It must be the box rather than...
