Probably badly but working! simply pulled apart, tested each cell for voltage, levered spot welded links off dead cells, three, and replaced them with NiMhs I already had by soldering wire links then hot melt glue between loose cells and parcel tape to make correct shape.

OK I've got an excuse to come you're way now. Would £180 for dish, mount (fixed to back of dish to pole) and LNB/feedhorns be acceptable? Cash on collection in next few days. Not including stand as I said above.

Thanks, I assume by standard you mean it's a Channel Master feedhorn which I would like. Do you know how old it is? I would need to get the dish on the roof of my car (VW Touran) if possible - Can you measure the narrower dimension for me please (side to side) for the dish.

Hi Alllsat67 I don't do the chips any more I just had a few spare. The lead is £25 as one offs. If you want to make one I get mine made but can say the pin out is already posted in this thread and the chip for the interface is a MAX202CSE to step up from the meter voltage to PC. My charger says...
