Agreed .... 2.4m is absolute minimum for all channels - 3m for 24 hour reception. However 60cm will get you everything else if you have a Sky card, so you might like getting used to life without 2D. I am 40mins drive east of Wien and sorry, it's bad news - but, @johnpowley: PM me for more info.
