the vista media centre will not talk to a dvb s card directly although it says it is scanning chs ok...you need to google dvblink this sets up a bridge for the media centre and makes vista think it is using a terrestial card..i tried this setup with my skystar2 card works very well..also...

changed q13 all fine now card been working 2 weeks now... thanks for all the tips...

hi bombedone i have a faulty skystar2 rev 2.3 would q13 gone have the effect on say astra only tuning taquilla chs? i have found it on board marked ss it seems q14 is marked the same can i swap these around to see if diff fault occurs...i dont have nay mosfets here.. from pins of tuner starting...

well i can tell you..the diablo wireless does not work with pace...toally locks it or reboots it....seems to be a current issue prob reqs more current than the lite cam...

i assume this only applies to diablo lite cam not the wireless cos ive had no luck in getting pace working with diablo wireless? cheers

i tried progdvb but all i get with that is device not started? it will for some reason start twinham which is in list but not my ss2...i know i had this problem b4 but i cant remember what the cure was....but tnx for the reply i thought i had bad breath....never tried to get card to move dish b4...
