Channel 5 HD on 11306 H has a S/FEC of 27500 2/3
BBC HD on 10803 H has a S/FEC of 22000 5/6
That means that with the lower symbol rate BBC uses less usable data per byte and the singnal becomes too noisy earlier.
I am setup strictly for 2E. So Channel 5 should be worse to receive than BBC. But...
Looks the same. The difference seems to be the holes on the side for the LNB holder.
Also, the top part has nothing attached to it. All fittings are on the bottom. So the arms etc. should be OK.
My location is the south east of Germany (Northern Bavaria). Every year starting with the spring sun outage the signal degrades slowly until summer solistice and then picks up again to be strongest around XMas. No differece this year except theres a lot a thick cloud around this year.
Dead funny, I live here and I very rarely watch German PSB channels. Instead I spent a whole load of cash to receive british TV (see profile pic)!!!!:-rofl2
2f is a weird bird. Some channels are on GPS that have a corresponding frequency on the other plane. If that frequency is too strong it just masks the weaker tp.
Hi, the HD+ card does not give you "new" channels. What you get is free TV in HD quality. So if you are happy with RTL, Pro7 etc. in SD quality, don't bother. The card only unlocks GERMAN free TV HD channels.
