Hi guys
Been out of satellite for quite some time now (since sky digital start red and lost all interest )
Now looking to start back int it looking to find a prime focus dish with polar mount and actuator can go to 1.2 but that’s max for now
No idea on reciever or positioner as yet think just ku-band for now till I’m back in the game
Look forward to what you have for sale

Somewhere in England (possibly?)!
No disrespect to Pipedream but quite a few decent dishes of around that size, and located in the Southern UK, crop up regularly on the ebay, Gumtree, & Sphock (etc.) websites.

Just always preferred them to offset
I’d really want a 60cm prime focus dish only ever seen one once in what satellite magazine

A little less analogue, and a lot more crap.

The smallest prime focus Ive used has been a 50cm cassegrain type, but it was years ago.

Getting an original C120 flange LNB to fit on any feed these days will be your main task rather than sourcing a reflector.

I just realised, I have a Precision 1.2m prime focus dish down the side of a shed. It comes with the original feed support arms and a Precision Ku-Band feed. I also have some brand new Invacom C120 LNB's and a couple of used Inverto C120 LNB's.

There were two of these dishes but I sold one, the one that is left has some of the paint coming off the rear mounting ring but it can be rubbed down and painted easily enough.
I would need to check if the dish has any dents or dings in it as it has been down the side of the shed for a few years now.

I cleaned them up at one point and sold one then put the other one away, it will probably need another clean up.
Couple of pics attached.

Note:
There is no mount or ground stand included.
However, you could probably cobble up some type of bracket up to get a 1.2m onto a DiSEqC motor if the dish is to be installed in a sheltered location?

Ideally, a Precision polar mount or a Jaeger 1224 would be the preferred mounting option but these are quite scarce nowadays and generally sell for decent wad.

Arcon Sweety type dishes turn up often on ebay, in 43cm & 57cm sizes.

Not the one I was asked to install, those sizes could be posted without too much difficulty. With a 90 or larger it becomes rather expensive.

Is the o/p on the south coast ?

Yes, a blast from the past, we have "scopus" to thank for the details about the Unicorn dish.

The first time a Unicorn dish came to my attention was way back in either the late 1990's or early 2000's when there was an article in "What Satellite" magazine featuring a Unicorn dish on a Jaeger 1224 motor.
If I recall correctly, they described it as a "Reference 1.2m setup" or something along those lines?

Unfortunately, I binned all of my "Wot Sats" some time ago otherwise I would have dug out the article and uploaded it to the forum.

Please yes I’d like this but comes down to price as I’ve no idea of where to find parts to make this work
