Another channel goes OSCAM-only

Along with Pick TV, Premier Sports has now gone black on CCcam. Noticed this on Friday when I sat down to watch the Blue Square Premier game and it was black. I thought that maybe it was just a problem with the channel so left it but it was still the same the next day so I had to install OSCAM. All working here now but only a matter of time before one of the main ones goes off.

There have also been people with OSCAM reporting that Premier Sports doesn't work for them but I don't know if me entering the boxkey made a difference as I was told OSCAM didn't need it. I also saw something regarding a magic ECM request which then answers back with either a boxid or serial number to the card meaning that Sky can get hold of it and shutdown the card.

Been going around a load of forums for days, even the ViX one.

I.Luv.ManUtd still can't clear on CCcam as he figures out how to use OSCAM.

I can't get it to clear on CCcam, that's correct.

I'm trying to move to OSCAM but I need to flash my box again after it's died a bit using a null modem.

Googling it shows I'm not the only person with the issue. Pick TV, Pick TV +1 and Premier Sports are now only available on OSCAM. If I read my card with CCcam then it goes black but if I use OSCAM it works again

Yeh, Premier Sports won't clear on CCcam. I sort of got OSCAM working but then killed the box

When I did get it working, Pick TV started to decode but I didn't configure Premier Sports before I hurt my box

is there an easy tut to get oscam installed on a debian server to read the card and send it to cccam?

There are a few files I downloaded that read the card and send to CCcam, works best with CCcam 2.1.3.

Add the following line to your existing cccam.cfg & correct box id in oscam.server. I've been told boxkey is optional but I added mine anyway, if you don't add a box key just comment it out.

Not sure how to install OSCAM but that's how to set it up once installed and make sure that you're choosing the right card slot, I didn't and it took me 2 hours before I realised!

I used these for a VU+ Duo but hopefully you can mod them a bit for Debian if necessary.
