ART activation

just bought a 12 month ART card, and i dont seem to be able to activate it.

on gemini 2.80, and camd3.088a

put it in the slot, enabled camd3 and gone to an ART channel, but nothing?

any idea's anyone?

upgraded to gemini 3.00 and still no luck...

somebody must have an idea, please...

ive installed, card info centre v3.0 by musicbob, to check card details and its reporting...

"YOU MUST SELECT NEWCAD OR MGCAMD ENU BEFORE STARTING THIS PLUGIN
CARDSERVER IS NOT RUNNING"

but in Blue Panel i currently have "MGCamd-1,00p12a/MewCS-1.16" enabled...

what am i doing wrong?

I had the exact same prob by d/loading ones off blue panel and my ART card did not work or activate.

Ive grabbed one off the net, You will have to FTP accross the files to relevant directories (pretty simple). Restart DB and it shud activate and work.


Ive tried other vers and cant get it to work. This is also a very recent card

[just noticed this is 5620 i have no idea if its the same setup or what (im a noob to the DB scene), ive used this on a DB7000S and it worked fine]

mine activated with camd3 3.875 IIRC
newcamd did not want to play ball tho'...

after hours of trying different images and emu and configs finally it worked...

but i have no idea whats different now to what i 1st tried...
