Sorry to correct you. A 2.7m solid and a 3m mesh. The mesh is probably pointing to Hellas sat at 39E and it's motorised.

Take a photo anyway but I don't think they are 5m +. Zades dishes are unusual but I think they are around 3.8m, 4.2m the most. I have seen a 5m dish whic was dismantled from an American embassy and you would not be able to put that on top of a pub. The pole it sits on must be about 10+ inches diameter.

Not fun in this weather ,but not much different than the 12 piece 3.7m or 16 piece 4.2m that we do now,except the new ones are probably much lighter. Zades ones are quite old but he probably imported his own as I only see them in Paphos.

I don't install the cheap chinese 4.3m but the more expensive chinese 4.2m (the aluminium ones that sit on a pole, not the steel ones that sit on a frame) and are well over €3000 supplied and installed. You can pick up a second hand 4.3m quite cheap but have trouble finding someone to dismantle and re install as they are tricky to maintain the shape. Most of those that have been moved do not work at full potential. But for Paphos a 3m is adequate if it's installed properly.

I used to install the same for BT in 2003 2004 for places more than 5.5Km from exchanges and people couldnt get decent Internet Broadband

I think you'll find not much has changed ................ 750kbps download speed on a good day here.

Tooway and similar services are beginning to look economically viable.
