dm800 svga from dvi

Hi all
does any one know if you can get svga from the dvi output on a dm800? as my plasma is a little old and does not have hdmi, but does support svga 1024 by 768, I have tried dvi to sga convertor but dont get a picture.

Even if you manage to get a converter which will work, the picture quality will be poor, plus you have to send audio via a jack which can't be connect on dm800 (need to get other cables for sound).

The best solution you can do is connect via scart, the picture will be better plus you will have sound and its a lot cheaper then buying all the extras just to get the svga to work.

If you still planing to work with svga, check to see your settings in the main menu -> a/v settings => video output is dvi
and check that the converter is not one direction meaning sends from svga to dvi and not the other way around.

For the sound you can connect a scart to leading out to rca or connect using optical wire.
