So that the Polish people in England can receive their radio from Astra 23.5 east rather than the feeble signals from Amos-3 here in the UK,
The change is due to the failure of Amos 6 in September that would have been easy to receive here on it's Pan European Beam with a 60 to 75cm dish :-
When Amos-2 finally goes signals from 4 west will be almost non existent here with a 80cm dish,
Amos-3 & 7 have their narrower beams aimed at Central Europe with a much weaker footprint in the UK.
