My Satellite Setup
'Fortec Star Passion' (& a dead SL65) One of them big Woks on the outside, and a thingy that moves it about a bit.
My Location
Nottingham
I have the original Passion.
It wont complete a search.

I deleted all the channels then it would do a full search.

Once that search was completed, I tried a search again.
It stops at 22% on 11307/H/27500 (Astra 28)

Anyone have an answer for this?

From your ahem 'profile' it would appear you have a motorised system, does your stb know where the other satellites are located?
Is it not possible that the motor is unable to move in this terrible weather? surely it will be frozen solid and unable to move to another satellite on the arc, hence why it only gets to 22%

Is your channel list full? When you say you deleted all the channels, do you mean ALL the channels or just the ones on 28E?

Somehow my reply of yesterday did not go?
I did delete all the channels, and it stated no channels found.
I then set factory defaults, then it showed channels even before 28e scanned.
Is there any way to do a full reset?

mick, your Fortec Passion Transponder memory is full (it's 200 or 300 TPs, don't remeber exactly...), not so rare with a motorised system

you've got to delete the TPs, not the channels, using the editor you can delete loads of no-use TPs from non receivable satellites or from C Band database

Thanks Danit

I deleted TP's from some eastern most satellites, and now get a full scan.

I had to delete the TP's individually.

Is there a way to delete them faster
or to delete satellites which I will never pick up?

not if you are using SetEdit v. 1.01, I guess it should be possible with advanced version 1.03, not freeware unfortunately
