NASA's Juno spacecraft, in orbit around Jupiter, took ultraviolet images of the giant planet and discovered a rapidly expanding auroral ring at the very fringes of the Jovian magnetosphere.
Signal was a bit low, on the 1.2m dish, to get those pics properly. Getting anything was only possible due to the very to drift rate (0.08 Hz/sec)
