I have a KSC-N620H2MCO PVR receiver. I can record and play satellite
TV channels. The play works fine. There are two files in the
\AVData directory - .TRP (actual recorded file) & .PVR (txt file with
some data). These two files are with the same name.
A PC program (Divxconverter) is also available to convert any MPEG or
AVI file to .Dvx & .trp - these files copied to the \AVDATA data can
be played from the PVR on the TV.
My problem. The converted file plays with audio breaks and the video
is sometimes jurky. I converted a VCD movie (.dat) file into .AVI
(using Smartmovie convertor) and then to .Dvx using Divxconvertor.
The movie playback is jurky and with audio breaks.
The originallly recorded program from satellite channel to PVR works
fine with superb audio and video quality.
Has anyone experienced this problem. Please help me find the right
convertor so that I can copy DVD and VCD movies into the PVR to watch
later. The PVR is with a 80GB HDD and I can later change that to a
120 or 300GB to store more media files.
In MP3 playback I have to select individual files and add to playlist
for playing. There is no way to store the playlist so that at a
later date I can use the same playlist for playback of MP3 files.
Everything is related to software in the PVR. Can it be solved with
any additional software as a \software directory and \game directory
is present on the PVR HDD.
