Line of sight on Hellas sat?

Hi,
a super write-up, but unfortunately, my neighbours house obsures me from seeing Thor. I needed to put the dish at the bottom of my garden to give me a chance at seeing Hellassat. I used a dish-pointer program from the internet, which uses an image from Google earth. And I should be able to see Hellasat. But. I'm not sure if a house way of in the distance may be blocking out part of the signal? But, at the moment I can't find Hellas, albeit from a weak signal of about 74 on the sat-finder meter. aAs I said in my earlier threads. I'm really new to all this stuff. Could I play around with transponder values (whatever they may be? to give a better signal?). This dish set-up is getting both my wife and me a lttle stressed to be quite honest. If anyone wants to send me a pm, I can let you have my postcode. So you can have a look at my locale tec.
I have a 1.0 metre dish on a Manhatten H-H mount, with a technomate 5500 DACI receiver.

Do you mean Hellas sat2 at 39East if so which beam are you trying to catch as the S2 beam need about a 3 mtr dish, I suggest you clarify what is is you want to receive and then someone may be able to help you

yes it's the Hellasat at 39 degrees east, and I'd like to pick up any greek free greek channels.

ERT & Riksat on 39e (12.606h), an easy catch on a zone 2 (60cm)

With a correctly set up 80cm dish in S England, you should get some 40 channels clear off 39 east.
