New motor Advice

Hi
I am looking to buy a new motor for my system
the old one has gone duff after a short time Its
a bit of a pig to get to so am looking for a motor that
will last the test of time its moving a 90cm dish. And
why dont they break in the summer only when the rain
starts Thanks

Dave, try a Moteck or TM motor. The TM2600 has metal gearing and should be up to the job.

Gone for a tm2600 super looks like the man
for the job keep me off the roof for a couple
of years from a site sponsor good price as well a bit
more expensive than the Moteck but time is money
the last one I bought was low price motor part of a kit
its worked well but just over 12 month old now and its
shot

Exactly what Make/Model was the dead one?

That information could be useful in telling future punters what not to get

The old motor came as part of a kit
there is no make or model number on it
just a set up guide sorry can not give any
more details apart from the fact its only
been in the air for 5 months only. The guy I got
it from is no longer trading on e-bay live and learn
