Following on from Korpens thread of earlier

and having a couple of customers with feeds that are now without the green cap, what constitutes the best cover as a replacement, both in preventing the spider/water ingress, and somewhat longer lasting than clingfilm.
Bear in mind it also has to be more or less transparent to microwaves at all frequencies, anyone using a yoghurt pot/cat food lid/parcel tape should also give an idea on how much loss they incurred when fitting something different to the front of their feed.
