My Satellite Setup
Openbox S9 receiver

Has anyone got these or any other HD input running through a slingbox.
Just wanted to know which one I need? With a HD input and how good they are?
Do they have to run over internet or can a direct cat5 cable be used?
I have my box in the lounge and want to feed it to the bar in the converted garage. Currently I'm moving my s9 in & out and hopefully this could be a way round.
I could just run it through the laptop-projector in the bar

dm800hd, 1.0m motorised dish. AMD Phenom 11x4 965, radeon4890, 2 x 1TB, 1 x750GB.

Now i don't have a slingbox, but from what iv'e read they need to be connected via a router, but really if you'r only using it in the home and garage then it would only really be running through your network not the actual interweb.



I hope somebody that has one will tell you about them.
