Saw this yesterday on my way back from Ruishton.

Taking part at the Yeovilton Air Show, I was fortunate enough to be driving past on the A303 at just the right time to get three fly-bys from both planes in the space of five minutes. Made my day.

Oooohhh Im jealous!. I loved the Vulcs ever since I saw one at Stafford Airshow 30+ years ago.

A couple of low passes, then the pilot put the nose hard up directly over the crowd and lit the afterburners! There was the most amazing white glow in the exhaust ports & the noise was absolutely deafening! To this day I still remember the howl of the engines as she went over :-worship :)

I found one down at Carlisle airport a couple of years ago (XJ 823) - sadly only a static exhibit nowadays but still a magnificent aircraft. Shes in a public place so you can wander under the old girl :)

Beautiful aircraft. The next best one is at Southend (doesn´t fly, but does taxi sometimes).

Shame there is not a flying Concorde.

Apologies, the first link should have been this one, complete with Sea Vixen.
