Hi to all people on this forum :) just a simple question more likely a newbie question

i got a Fortec Lifetime Classic NA that i can put codes on it but the thing is there is no way to disable auto roll on that receiver and there are no updates available coz they said and another forum i visited its faced out already so i was thinking of getting a cam and the only cam i saw available to buy here in my country is Matrix(all 3 types of Matrix Cam) well is it compatible with my receiver?
is it the right choice? can i get cartoon network and HBO on that cam or at least English channels on that cam or any updates for that cam? what does the matrix unlock for me? is the matrix easy to update using cas 3 or what is the best and easy way to update matrix cam?

Thanks :) im really desperate to watch cartoon network :D and English Channels im fedup with p*rn :D eheheh

Is it a motorised dish or fixed?
What satellites can you 'see' ?

I'm not into CAMs, but the popular ones are the Diablo and TRex, I was under the impression that the Matrix were past it.

In that case, check out the Diablo and TRex(Dragon) CAM areas on the forum, Two of those satellites at least ,I believe there will be stuff open using them. (Hotbird, Nilesat)

You will probably also require a programmer, if you haven't got one.
I recommend the Cas 3 +, as this can programme both the Diabl and Dragon Cams, and can also programme cards, which might be useful in the future.
With things changing at the moment, D+ changing to Nagra 3 encryption, it might be advisable to wait a little while before choosing between the Dragon and Diablo, both will currently open TPS, Premiere and Digi TV, but the next update might encourage you to choose one more than the other.

See the Diablo cam at £55, paid almost twice this for the Dragon supermodule and haven't had as many packages cleared (as the Diablo). But like Mickha says you don't know what's around the corner. The Cas 3 is a good investment as it will program both.
