SMS on Three UK

Anyone having issues receiving SMS messages on Three UK? Haven't received any this morning, including the ones I sent to myself. I rely on SMS messages for confirmation codes to sign in to various websites and I can't do it without text messages.

I used to get this a lot (am not on 3 network) with the HTC one m8, texts would just sit in my folder unsent, sometime for over an hour

I found that powering the phone off fully and then back on and phoning someone used to push the texts through, but this did not always work

in the end i updated the phone software and it fixed the problem

but it was very frustrating at the time

Just phoned Three and they said that they are aware of this issue. Hopefully will be fixed soon...

I have had similar problems with my HTC android phone and as J said rebooting would often solve the problem. I am only guessing but there seems to be a bug in the software and if the nearest tower goes down it does not then search for the next nearest. Rebooting merely clears the registered nearest tower thus allowing it to fix on the next nearest, this is only based upon my experiences, not actual knowledge
