The SX88+ will be OK for now very easy to set up,
The DiSEqC Motor is controlled via the coaxial cable going to the Lnb,
So the route is Cable In motor--Cable out of motor to Lnb.

Several small Dishes.
Much else.

Patently a publication error.

IIRC, the figures for the bigger dish are correct.

I use to have 300 cm motorised mesh c band dish Back home with pace receiver motor was connected to separate power supply
So when I want to change sat. I select the channel on desired sat then. I move dish with power supply up and down button
Talking about 90s
Things are more simple now a days as receiver can move the dish to desired satellite

Most dishes are reasonable these days. Most of the old lags on here wont touch the big Jonsa or FortecStar dishes though as their quality leaves a bit to be desired

Yes looks like printing error
Cause 80 cm will never beat 100 cm
I checked on technomate website
But they are not showing any technical information

For dishes 90cm to 120cm Gibertini takes some beating.

If you live near the coast buy aluminium dishes - they wont rust when the paint gets chipped

Somewhere in England (possibly?)!
Having 3x TRIAX dishes (all secondhand - thus bought very cheaply!) I wouldn't recommend any of them because setting the declination angle is a real pain in the A** (and the arm and brain!), especially the larger ones!

The adjustment on the Gibertinis is much more straightforward and easily controlled.

No experience of Technomate dishes.

Not worried about budget but can not go bigger than 100 cm as planing rules secondly it’s going to be at the front so as discreet as possible

Discreet is difficult with a 1m!

However you could get some car primer the approx colour of your brickwork & lightly spray the face of it.

To be honest it all depends how tolerant your neighbours are & how well you can hide them - at one point I used to have 9 dishes in the garden :D including two 1m and a 1.1m

Technomate dishes are cheap & have the same declination angle set up as the Triax dishes so another one to avoid also the gain is very poor due to the poor construction OK if you just want strong satellite like Astra-1 & 2 but a 60cm oval in a test I did a long while ago gave better signals that the 100cm Technomate dish that I scrapped

Agreed. Choose the colour to, as far as possible, match that of the building behind it - or maybe use a combination of colours (red oxide + a brightish green) in a "zigzag" or "random spots" (what the Russians use on their fighters!) camouflage pattern if there's vegitation (trees or bushes) behind it. Works quite well in my experience :D.

PS: Don't forget that the dish may not have to be on the actual front wall of the building, as ground-mounting (or on the wall, but close to ground level?) would be more "discrete" and much easier to adjust, providing that the buildings on the other side of the road are not too tall (use dishpointer to check what elevation angle you would need for your chosen sats.)
