Dear friends,
I really need your help regarding the excellent Technomate TM-5402 M4 I received two days ago (software version 1.45 Apr 23 2023). It seems to me that there is a software anomaly that prevents watching a previously recorded program while recording another, which is possible without problems with the equally excellent TM-5402 M3. In the specifications of the M4 on the Technomate site it is clearly stated "What's more, you can record up to 2 channels (on the same transponder) whilst watching a file from your USB HDD". With the previous M3 there is no problem doing this and we do this routinely. With the M4, as soon as a recording begins, the "menu" key no longer responds (so the usb key) and therefore you no longer have access to the files already saved, except to stop the recording in progress. I tried, by chance, with the latest Phantom patch 2_TM-5402_M4_17052023_P.bin (thanks manic01 ) but the result is the same.
My friends, I know i'm bad, and please forgive my poor english, but do you know if it is really possible with the M4 to watch a program recorded on an HD disk or an USB stick while another is recording, as it is written in the specifications and as it works perfectly with the M3?
Many, many thanks in advance, have a nice day everyone!
