Modern televisions with FreeView Play, Amazon Firesticks and some earlier boxes can get this channel.

Does anyone have a comprehensive list or is it worth starting one here ?

My interest is to receive Radio Caroline and some others without going online, using Alexa, (and definitely not DAB )
The AM car radio is currently fine in the car however the increase in interference thrown up from BT telegraph poles is somewhat tiresome.

This is a streaming channel that requires an internet connection. So it looks like it won't work for you :)

Each terrestrial box I have is Internet connected, it is the Hbb version that influences the eventual reception.

I've blagged a Sonly KD-49X series TV, with hard wired LAN connection, nothing on 277.

I've already tried with the GT Combo and GoldMaster with the same result, will try with the SF8008 and 4008 later today.

I will be taking charge of a four year old HiSense TV early next week to try. Having played with a more modern one earlier this week (wireless connected) it did store the channel in memory but there was no audio.

I borrowed a neighbour's Samsung TV earlier today (UE22H5500AK), a full HD TV.

Whilst it receives absolutely everything else ( and allows YouTube reception through the app, a rarity) there is nothing on the radio portal.

I updated the firmware to the latest, same result.

I'm not sure what the exact requirements are, but I suspect it would be a modern Freeview Play device, and off the top of my head I can't remember how long they've been a thing, theres a chance that firmware update could help, I suppose, but truthfully I don't know. Neither of the Freeview devices I have would be able to recieve this as one is a Humax HDR-2000T and the other a 2012 Sony TV

I've borrowed another HiSense TV, a 43" model (R43B7120) which has a FreeView Play button on the remote.

Of course it works.

It is a Roku enabled version however, after playing with it I cannot get any dedicared internet stuff (unlike the Samsung earlier) without signing up to Roku. Even then it may not allow much except the other dedicated buttons , Netflix/Google Play/Rakuten/Spotify.

I will go looking for a workaround later.

DAB is not something I would consider in the car, or at home.

The HiSense TV currently works, it is not mine but I might buy one if the Youtube app can be added to the menu.

Yes, just like the HiSense, I'm slightly put off getting one since YouTube will need a Roku account (though I can watch through the satellite receiver)
