Good Night all
In one of my previous inputs
"My new motor (TM-2600 M2)will only move between 30W and 45E"
Has anybody had this problem with this motor, my previous STAB was slow but it survived many years,
and I was able to cover 58W to 53E using the same receiver.
Any ideas or help would be appreciated.
I have Superjack DG2100+ motor still in a box so changing this for the Technomate 2600 and see what happens

Laminas 1.5m and Stab 120 motor
You don't want to be putting a 1.5 on a stab.
Unless your old dish is clearly damaged or out-of-shape, chances are that it still does the job quite well. Thanks to everybody above for your help and info.
What improvement would I see by just upgrading to a
Laminas 1.2m dish compared to my 10 year old Joe Blogs dish

Thanks for all the info folks
If I went 36V route what would I need to drive the dish with an arc 60W to 57 E I am at 8W
and is this much more difficult to setup than my STAB 120 motor.

Thanks blademedia
I am ok with what you describe above, its the actuator bit is where I have no experience with.
To cover the arc I mentioned above what size and make of actuator is required,
and how is this mounted on the dish and mast, and what cables are required.
