Thought I had already posted it but must have screwed up - but, IIRC, there WAS/IS an thread on this subject, and so, STAFF please find and resurrect that !Why don’t you start the thread......
IIRC there WAS/IS a thread like that - someone on the Staff please resurrect it!
In a probably vain hope, I just tried to search for that old thread to which I know I contributed (and later some photos although to another thread) after I came back to the forum in Jan 2016 after many years - but I can't seem to go back more than a few months from today. Is that the "limit" or could someone else look at the archives for that period? Some threads were deleted by a former staff member, never to be recovered

Oops! We ran into some problems.
Sorry to hear about your cat, fingers crossed.Update!
I could not do anything about the "Lidl" box during the day because my wife was occasionally watching Sky downstairs, but then I had to take her to a local WI mtg and so had the house to myself. I plugged the box in downstairs, connected up both LNB leads and the phone line, paired our existing Sky card with the box on line on-line (it took just seconds for the encrypted Sky channels to clear) - and watched AND recorded 2 shows at the same time - RESULT!
So that's "done" now, and all that was then needed was to disconnect everything, put the card back in the main Sky box and request pairing the two (took seconds, and no need to go on-line again).
In between times, I resurrected a 15-16yr old HP laptop (XP!) that had not been switched on since 2009, cleared a lot of the rubbish on that and so on - and the battery appears to have fully charged up, having been at 0% when I plugged the adapter in, but is now at 100%. Also cleared up a lot of "electro junk" in the "office", and managed to unearth the 2x DRX 890s, but now that the "Lidl" 895 seems to work, those 890s are being stripped: I've already got a 2TB WD Green drive out of one and there's a 500Gb "something or other" in the second - both of which will be found suitable homes.
Sorry but I didn't feel like starting that new thread today as we have a number of more important household and health issues with which to deal, but I'm aim to start it tomorrow.
On top of that, that it's looking like our remaining cat might well have to put to sleep if the Feline HIV tests turn out positive - probably won't know for a day or two, but he is pretty poorly and under 24hr (expensive!) care at the moment

I feel for you. Hoping for the best. Thanks to everyone who wished the cat all the best and we hope he pulls through too. His name is "Scruffy", which is usually a dog's name, but he was a very little, thin and scruffy cat of just over a year old when he decided that here was the best place for him and he wouldn't go away, and so we finally said "OK, you stay!"
