I'm hoping this post can be moved to a dedicated Openbox section of the forum as I'm sure there will be many issues and problems relating to the SX6 ..it being relatively new .
Anyway here goes ..
Picture is excellent though the aspect ratio often changes without prompting ...resulting in images which are clearly wrong and overscanned with part of the image being off screen therefore not visible..
I assume there may be a way to 'fix' this so auto doesn't take over.
The manual although good doesn't provide enough detail as to how to navigate around this fairly complex box ..
..and I have yet to find the equivalent remote control button of
'sat' on the TM5402
'group' on the F15
or even 'Zoom' on older openbox receivers
a simple button press to list ..select...and move to a new motorised sat position on the arc.
I do hope it exists and I find this soon..
it is much needed if your sat list (arc positions) and channel lists end up as large as mine do..
There is a possible bug ..refered to in the 16/32 psk receiver thread ..whereby ..a 'no signal' box will appear for many seconds ..before the picture appears ..
when moving between channels ..
even if only a short hop between transponders on the same bird ?
and sometimes just channel hopping on the same transponder ???
which is even more confusing.
Not sure if this is an enthusiasts box ..or aimed more at the 'TV watcher' market ..
as yet its hard to say.
Certainly navigation isn't as obvious and intuitive as previous stbs imo.
Anyway ..I'm adding the link to the channel editor obtained last night to this post ..as I have tried it and it does work.

it is too large to add the zip itself.
very nice in fact..
more later

Ok ..think I've solved the 'grouping' problem ..
pressing the 'Fav' button doesn't just group by favourite catagory ..but also acts as the 'sat' or 'zoom' button ..
Another feature I like is the SX6 ability to display 2 channels at once providing they are from the same transponder....either as a corner box (pic in pic) image or side by side ..
Previously I have only seen this on PC sat card softwares..
