Gentlemen, I have 90cm mesh dish which has, until a few weeks ago, been picking up 16E OK from SE England (Digit Alb 11.499 H and Pink 11.178V.) The signal was strength and quality were never great (about 45% on each) and rain tended to cause serious probs. A few weeks back the signal quality...

Getting mixed messages. Both the Protek and Nanoxx forums are closed with respect to the 9600 IP. They say they will be back in 1-2 weeks. Last time it took more like a month. Some are saying that it could be over for the support for this STB. Hope not. Only had mine six weeks! :-DOH2

Thanks Robbo. Just wanted to add a Freesat box to the lnb loopthrough on my existing set up for the HD channels etc (with the 'proper' Freesat EPG.) Thanks again

I was thinking of getting a Freesat STB to add to my current set-up. I have four dishes on a four way Disecq with a dish pointing at Astra 2. My question is, are there any official Freesat boxes with Disecq or will I have to connect the dish direct :)

I to have recently got one of these boxes and agree that the protek forum is very basic. Pleased with the box though - there's a bewildering amount of stuff open on it, just wish the support was a little better. Any chance of opening a discussion section on the Protek 9600 IP on this site? :)

Thanks for your replies. My current set-up is four dishes on a four way disecq hooked up to 13e, 19.2e, 1w and 28.2e. I currently have a Liberty MCI 2500+ receiver which I have been very happy with. I just really like the idea of the updates via LAN. I think I'll order one of these receivers...

Good morning gentlemen. I am considering purchasing one of these receivers but cannot find any reviews anywhere on the net. Does anyone have any information or know where to find any information, other than the actual Protek site. Better still does anyone actually have any experience of this...
