C band performance was ok though as part of my experimenting at the time i removed the k/u/ part and blanked off the hole with an aluminium disc and discovered that i got slightly improved signal/quality levels in C band as a result of this -- this maybe something worth trying with your l.n.b. when you move to weaker satellites --- but i think a non standard plate will give you the biggest gains :) it took me a while to get a bracket that i was happy with on my channel master dish -- that allowed me full adjustment of the l.n.b and feed -- and although quite different -- the gibertini looks a bit tricky this way too -- has the awfull weather arrived with you yet --- it has here in n.w. yorks :( regards nelson.b.
