I want to get tv zimbo, but on this satellite I can only receive 2 channels both arabic. I have a 90cm dish. On 7 and 9 deg east I get all the channels on those. I know there might be a line of sight issue perhaps, or could it be that my dish is not large enough?

O/T I also seen that eurosport has bundesliga rights, as well as zdf which is a good sign. from 2017

90cm is really too small for 10E.

I can normally get it on a 1m but transmission do seem to be a bit erratic.

I must be quite lucky as I can pick up a fair lot on 10E with my 80cm. Don't get me wrong, they are weak but in good weather margin they are viewable.

Setting up a dish for feed satellites such as 10 east is much more critical than for DTH satellite some broadcast on 10 east do require a larger dish but you will get at least AMC Africa & MUTV as these are very strong transponders,

I am picking up over 30 transponders with a 88cm mesh dish from 10 east,

Even with a large dish if you do not have it set up right you will not get much as you are aiming at a small caravan over 22,000 miles away.

Moved to the tp & channels section which is a better home for these sorts of questions.

Lost all signals tonight from 10 east on 100cm dish due to severe storm it is only when this happens that you realise why Eutelsat suggest using a 240cm dish for all transmissions under all weather conditions

All DTH satellites ok,
We are lucky to get transmissions from feed satellites with our small dishes but only when weather systems allow.

I count the number of times I have gone outside to wipe down the face of the lnb to remove eater droplets! It does make a difference.
