Hi I had tuned in 3662 R 10808 1/2 (the weak one) but I have lost 4012 R 10050 3/4 8PSK (very strong) has anything changed?

On my side of the pond only the Russian tp at 3662 is attainable with quite strong signal quality.

Always found these very easy to get. In fact, it locks and is watch-able with just 2dB SNR thanks to DVB-S modulation and 1/2 FEC.

You're right , the linc margin is 7.2 for 9.9dB (1.8m),thanks to the 1/2 FEC

btw, do you remember this mux on 4012 R, one of the strongest C band stream ?

Yep, that was a strong transponder. Was getting over 15dB on a 1.2m CM. I think an 80cm dish would have been enough to get it.

Has 3663V dropped in power? Seems rather weak - I was getting at least 7dB on it on the 1.5m.

Can someone check 3663V? The signal is extremely erratic for me ranging from nothing to about 5dB... been like this all day.

Quite stabile here (5.7-5.8 dB ). But only 5 . something. Maybe year or something when checked that last. It was stronger earlier I recall...

Just a quick check, the SNR on 3.10m was the signal on 1.80m , some months ago....

1.8m: 6.8dB
3663_20160613_180.JPG

3.1m: 10 dB

3663_20160613.JPG

not very strong but with 1/2 in QPSK it's enough

I have a stable imagination that this was 7-8 dB some time ago? Maybe something changed on footprint or 2nd likely reason ->

Hmm I wonder if the leafing hawthorn is the culprit... will check Ku band and see what that's like.

Thankfully it's my hawthorn, so can trim it if needed.

Hmmmm... the tree is nowhere near 11W. It's not tall enough for a start and, if anything, it sits more under 1W (which is fine) than 11W.

Just checking Ku band on 11W and there's a slight wobble but it's well within a dB - can be attributed to winds we are having here at the moment. So C band is a mystery. Justing thinking... 3662 - that's a downlink of 1488 MHz over the cable, is anything broadcast on this frequency? The dish is sort of pointing to the nearest mast, which has 4G but that's nowhere near this frequency, I believe. WiMax?! No real reason to have it around here...
