Had a search but couldn't find anything totally specific on this...

I have one dish with 2 x lnb's (Astra/Hotbird) going via a diseqc switch into a Technomate.

I also have a communal Sky dish which I also want to add to the Technomate. This is where the problem starts.

This comes in via internal cabling and out through a wall socket so I can't add it to the diseqc switch which is outside unless I run co-ax out to the switch from the inside wall which really isn't an option. As it's a communal dish I can't get up on the roof and fiddle around with the co-ax to run it down to my diseqc switch either!!!!

Is it possible to run Astra/Hotbird into my existing diseqc switch, then out of there into a second diseqc switch which would also contain Astra 2...and how would you go about setting that up in the receiver menu?

Or is there another, more simple way?

The simpler way.... do not bother, you run the risk of screwing up everyone's sky viewing and they wouldn't be very happy if you did. They are far better kept separate IMHO

Or you could add another offset LNB for 28.2 onto your dish and sort it out that way.
