I am getting this ok, five channels here at the moment, i am not so sure what is happening with one of the channels very erratic and not 4.2.2. maybe a new channel getting ready to start ?.

Receiving Eutelsat 36B DSTV Africa on 12245 Horizontal 27500. Around 7.5dB with the Dr HD F15 receiver.
Only encrypted channels though in Irdeto. Seems to be the only transponder which is lockable. Others giving 2-3dB on Africa Beam.
On 1.5 Channel Master Dish

Had a look at this one and seem to have got something.The channels look right.

hi laser the only transponders at the moment are12245H at 65% quality and 12073V at 52% quality all are scrambled except CCTV which is fta on 12073V

12245H has always been there for me - even managed it (just) on the Penta 85 - but never locked anything else from sub-Saharan beam.

Besides CCTV there is also 'Dish on TV' on Freq 11843 V 27500 3/4 which is free to air.

I have just done a quick scan on this sat, and I am locking a few b 11109 V 3407 3 clear channels, 11221 H 27500 5 channels GDS is still scanning in but is active now on 11429 H 2893 clear, 11438 H 8249 4 channels 3 with test cards setanta E/A $, 11645 V 6000 Imn clear, 12511 H 4340 KAKAKH TV clear,

I have not gone though them all but a few to try for, I did have to move my dish a few clicks W of 36E to lock some of the TP.

Hi, i am locking 8 channels all $ from 12245 H 27500 but I am unsure what mux I am locking it looks like the Africa mux?,

Yeah that'll be the Multichoice South Africa package. A relatively easy catch for most on that frequency. Others are much more difficult.

I did a complete scan on this Sat with my 1.2 and although i could receive 297 Channels, (many from the Multichoice package on) only some handful are clear. The new ones are from 1 to...........17 pages.

hi just to let everyone know i only receive 12245h 27500 from the african beam 48% signal on a gibertini 1.25m dish and a technomate 6900 super plus

Similar readings here approx 130 miles further south with a 104cm Gibertini + TM6902 HD T2 Super 49% Signal Quality shame there are no fta tv on this transponder
